FULL-TIME DEPARTMENT LEAD (Seasonal Department)

Bomgaars is seeking responsible, friendly, outgoing individuals to join our team in Forest City, IA. The Department Lead position oversees the Seasonal department which includes Outdoor Living and Sporting Goods merchandise.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Agriculture background/Product knowledge
  • Administrative skills to handle paperwork and record keeping, understanding Inventory Control
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis
  • Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Freight handling/forklift operation (varying outside elements)
  • Cashier
  • Sales
  • Ensure areas are clean, organized, and well stocked 
  • Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
  • Handling phone calls
  • Other tasks as assigned

Starting wage is $14.00 per hour with a comprehensive Benefit package.
