FULL-TIME SPORTING GOODS DEPARTMENT LEAD

Bomgaars is seeking to hire a Department Lead in the Sporting Goods department. Prefer individual have firearms and sporting goods merchandise knowledge. Position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older and subject to an applicable background check
  • ATF Compliance and sale of new firearms knowledge/experience
  • Administrative and computer skills to handle paperwork and record keeping, understanding Inventory Control
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis
  • Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Freight handling/forklift operation 
  • Cashier
  • Sales
  • Ensure areas are clean, organized, and well stocked 
  • Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
  • Handling phone calls
  • Other tasks as assigned

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with a comprehensive Benefit package.
