Assembly and Delivery
Each store provides varying levels of assembly, which may involve additional charges. For any special requests of special requests or specific needs, please reach out to your local store for assistance. Common items that may require assembly include: Grills, Hose Reels, Patio & Lawn Furniture, Mowers and other Power Equipment.
Each store is equipped with 1/2 ton pickup trucks for delivery when needed. Pricing and availability vary by item and location. Contact your local store for delivery details.
Discount Programs
- Military Discount - We offer a 10% of regular priced items to all persons who are currently serving or have served in the armed forces. The customer must request the discount and provide a valid form of Military ID if available. It will be extended to service member, not family or relatives.
- Senior Discount - Celebrate Tuesdays with our special offer just for senior citizens! Every Tuesday, seniors ages 60 and over can enjoy a 10% discount on regularly priced items.
- 4-H, FFA & Skills USA Discount - 10% off regular priced project merchandise. You must present your card at time of purchase. Each card has 5 punches and will expire after the 5 stamps or December 31st. Replacement cards are available upon request. To get a club card stop in your local store and speak to the manager on duty. If you need enough for your club or chapter contact your store before your scheduled meeting to make sure they have enough on hand.

Gift Cards
- How do I purchase a Gift Card? Gift cards can be purchased at any store or online. Gift cards purchased online will be shipped for Free via standard USPS Mail.
- May I return a Gift Card? Gift Cards cards are non refundable and may not be redeemed for cash, unless specifically stated by state law.
- How do you check a Gift Card Balance? Gift Card Balance Inquiries can be done online or by calling 1-888-529-6578.
- Can Gift Cards be used online? Yes Bomgaars Gift Cards can be redeemed for purchased online at Bomgaars.com. Please select the 'Gift Card' option when checking out and enter the gift card number and security code when prompted. At this time you may only use one gift card per transaction.
New & Previous Orders
- How do I look up a previous order? Customers who have set up an account with Bomgaars.com can Log In to access previous orders and receipts.
- Can I place my order by phone? We currently are not accepting orders by phone. Please place your order online or visit your local store for assistance in finding the product(s) you need.
- Can I place special orders on Bomgaars.com? To place a special order please contact our Industrial Sales and Special Order Department. Orders can only be shipped to a single address per order.
- What if I need to cancel my order? Contact us using the Customer Service form.
- Why was my order canceled? Sometimes an item unexpectedly becomes unavailable. If we need to cancel an item, you will be notified as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Guests (customers who do not have an account) may place orders. You will be required to put in Billing and Shipping addresses even if placing a Pickup in Store Order. If you do not have an account you may initially get an error message until you enter a billing address, complete the entry of a billing address and you may complete the order.
Payment Options & Receipts
- What types of payment are accepted at Bomgaars.com? We except American Express®, Discover®, MasterCard®, Visa®, PayPal, Venmo, Bomgaars Gift Card, Bomgaars Online Store Credit. All of these and the following are accepted at your local store - Bomgaars Charge Accounts, John Deere Financial.
- Are duplicate store receipts and Year End tax reports available? Yes, send purchase details to Customer Service. Your information will be reviewed and a response will be sent in 48-72 hours.
- Are gift receipts available? Gift receipts are available for purchases both in store and on Bomgaars.com.
- In Store - These may be requested at the time of checkout and must be done before the completing the payment portion of the transaction.
- Online - you can log in to My Account and choose to print copies of your order receipts at any time.
Pets in the Store
- Are pets allowed in the stores? Pets are welcome in our stores as long as they are on a leash or securely confined and vaccinated. If a pet is misbehaving and the owner does not follow the store associate's request, they will be asked to leave the store immediately.
Pricing
- Does Bomgaars price match? Currently we do not offer price matching on Bomgaars.com. To price match a competitor's current advertised price, please visit a store for assistance. Price matching is at our discretion and applies only to new, identical items from competitors. Price matching does not include closeout, clearance, liquidation, damaged products, specials orders, special buys, or online-only pricing. We also reserve the right to limit the quantity of any item eligible for price matching.

Rental Center
- Does Bomgaars rent equipment? Our Bomgaars Rental Center offers a wide variety of products for rent on a daily, weekly and even, monthly basis. We offer everything from aerators, lawn combers, tillers post hole diggers, breakers hammers, dethatchers, log splitters, and stump grinders and more. We currently have one rental center at 5901 Gordon Dr. Sioux City, IA that is open Monday through Saturday 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The prices range depending on the type of product. To reserve an item call 712-224-3000.
Shipping Charges & Restrictions
- Shipping charges are added to all online purchases, unless otherwise indicated. Shipping charges can be viewed in the customer's shopping cart upon checkout.
- How are shipping charges calculated? Shipping charges are based on dimensions, weight and destination of your order.
- Why am I being charged extra for shipping? Items that are considered overweight or oversized by carrier standards are charged an additional fee due to their size.
- Are shipping charges refunded for returns? Shipping charges are non-refundable except in the following instances: manufacturer defect, shipping damage, or incorrectly shipped items. Once a customer has accepted the shipment, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. For more information on return see our return policy.
- Does Bomgaars.com have shipping restrictions? Due to safety considerations, we are unable to ship the following.

- Does Bomgaars.com ship to all 50 states and APO/FPO address? At this time, Bomgaars.com only ships to the 47 continental states. We are unable to ship to:
- APO/FPO addresse
- PO Box
- Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Internationally
Shipping Damage, Lost or Incorrect Orders
- Is my package lost? If you have not received your package and you have your tracking information, you may contact Customer Service.
- What to do if my order was damaged during shipping? If your order was damaged during shipping, please create a return on Bomgaars.com indicating which product was damage upon shipment. Or, contact Customer Service for assistance.
- What if my order is not correct? If your order is not correct upon delivery, please contact Customer Service.
Shipping Locations & Timing
- How will my order come? Orders received by Bomgaars.com are generally processed within 24-48 hours. Shipment will occur once the order has been processed. Orders placed after Noon Monday - Friday will be processed the following business day.
- How do I know when my order shipped? Customers will receive an email with tracking information for their order once their order has been shipped. You may also track your order here. If your ordered as a guest you can look your order up here.
- Do orders ship on the weekend? No. At this time Ship to Home Orders are only processed Monday - Friday (Excludes Holidays). Ship To Home Orders placed after Noon CST Monday - Friday will be processed the following business day. Order arrival depends on the delivery option the customer selected at checkout.
- Where will my order ship from? At this time, orders placed on bomgaars.com are shipped from our main warehouse in Sioux City, Iowa.
- Can I pick up some items at the store and have some items shipped to my home? At this time, you will only be able to choose one shipping method. If you would like to designate two locations, we ask that you crate a separate order.
Small Engine Warranty
- DEWALT Warranties - DEWALT tool repairs can be taken to any Bomgaars store to be forwarded to the Stanley Black & Decker DEWALT Factory Service Center in Denver CO via the Drop Box program. Tools sent in will be repaired, and there are no estimates provided.
- STIHL Warranties - Most STHIL approved Bomgaars locations have a "STIHL Silver Certified" Technician available for repairs. For larger, more complex repairs, the Sioux City Service Center features a "STIHL Gold Certified" technician on site.
Store Pickup Procedure
- All Bomgaars locations offer Buy Online Pickup in store. There is no charge for Store Pickup. Availability may vary between stores, and some items are not available Buy Online Pickup In Store. These items include government or brand restrictions, such as ammo, reloading supplies, and auto batteries. Live animal, nursery items and bulk or hazardous materials are also not eligible. Power equipment is not sold in boxes, and is fueled, oiled and started on location by a team members. Warranty paper must be filled out at time of pick up.
- If you need to change any pickup options you can by going the Pick Up Options Form. After you place your order, it typically is ready within a four hour window. If you place an order after your local store is closed it should be ready by 9 am the next business. As soon as your order is ready you will receive and email with pickup instructions.
- If you are utilizing curbside pickup park in the designated spots and call the phone number on the sign, letting them know your parking number and order number. If you are picking up your order in the store look for the “Online Order Pickup” sign. Your order will be held for 7 days. Please bring your Order Number, a Valid ID and the credit/debit card used to place the order. If you need to cancel an order please call customer service at 1-833-599-5081 Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
