Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience. Key Carrier is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over the Automotive and Hardware departments and helps the Store Manager lead a productive team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years or older as this establishment sells firearms

  • Subject to an applicable background check
  • ATF compliance and general firearms knowledge a plus

  • Product knowledge - automotive and hardware merchandise

  • Retail and management experience preferred 

  • Merchandising skills/experience

  • Clear and concise communication skills

  • Administrative and computer skills to complete paperwork

  • Detail oriented/Organization skills

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis

  • Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Must be available to work flexible shifts - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (shift premium paid for working weekends and holildays)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control

  • Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers

  • General Sales Clerk duties to ensure store is clean, organized, and well stocked

  • Cashiering/Cash Handling

  • Freight handling/Forklift operation

  • Assist customers with product selection and load outs

  • Handling phone calls

*Pre-employment drug screen required

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour
