IOWA | Full-time Key Carrier (Tools) | Forest City
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience. Key Carrier is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over the Tool department and helps the Store Manager lead a productive team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Retail and management experience preferred but training available
- Product knowledge
- Merchandising skills/experience
- Administrative and computer skills to complete paperwork
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules – days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control
- Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
- General Sales Clerks duties to ensure store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Cashiering/cash handling
- Freight handling/Forklift operation
- Assist customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required
Wage is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
