Weed Beater Ultra controls over 200 broadleaf weeds without harming lawn grasses. It can be applied in cool and warm weather and can be used on northern and southern grasses. Results are visible in 24 hours on some weeds and complete kill occurs within 7 to 14 days. The quart concentrate treats up to 20,000 square feet (1/2 acre).
Reseeding of the treated lawn area can occur in 14 days, whereas most lawn weed killers prevent re-seeding for 4 weeks. Weed Beater Ultra has superior cool-season performance down to 45 degrees, which allows the control of early cool-season weeds, such as chickweed, henbit, and others.
Mix 1.5 ounces to 2.4 ounces of concentrate per gallon of water depending on the type of grasses you have on your lawn. Apply that gallon over 1,000 square feet using a tank-type sprayer. Spray the lawn area just enough to wet the foliage. For best control of broadleaf weeds, apply the weedkiller when the target weeds are actively growing. Keep the spray away from desirable ornamental plants. Delay mowing the lawn area two days before and after application.
