PART-TIME SPORTING GOODS SALES ASSOCIATES

Bomgaars is seeking to hire motivated, responsible individuals retail experience and firearms knowledge to work in the Sporting Goods department. Sales Associate positions offer the opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Pre-employment drug screen required and subject to an applicable background check
  • ATF Compliance and sale of new firearms general knowledge/experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Freight handling/forklift operation
  • Sales/Cashiering/Cash Handling
  • Ensure the Sporting Goods department is clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Assist customers with product selection and load outs
  • Handling phone calls
  • Other tasks as assigned

Starting wage is $14.00 per hour
