FULL-TIME SPORTING GOODS KEY CARRIER
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience and Sporting Goods/Firearms knowledge. The position assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Sporting Goods department and leading a productive team.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older and subject to an applicable background check
- ATF compliance and general firearms knowledge preferred
- Retail and management experience (training available)
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the department/store
- Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
- General Sales Clerk duties to ensure department/store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Cashiering/cash handling
- Freight handling/forklift operation
- Customer load outs
- Handling phone calls
Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, based on experience, with a comprehensive Benefit package
