NEBRASKA | Full-time Department Lead (Hardware, Plumbing) | Grand Island
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with retail experience to fill a Department Lead position. The individual will oversee the operations of the Hardware and Plumbing departments while providing excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Retail experience
- Product knowledge - hardware and plumbing
- Strong attention to detail/organizational skills
- Administrative skills to complete paperwork, pricing, and record keeping
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis with bending and squatting. Must be able to climb a ladder without difficulty.
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Freight handling/forklift operation/manual pallet jack (varying outside elements)
- Merchandising the sales floor
- Sales/Cashier/Recovery
- Ensure department(s)/store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
- Other tasks as assigned

Starting wage is $14.00 per hour with a comprehensive Benefit package.
