The Pentair OmniFilter BF36C 10" Heavy Duty Whole House Water Filtration System is designed to meet the high flow and large capacity needs of larger homes with 1-inch incoming water lines. It's ideal for both well water and city water applications, and the system easily attaches to any 1-inch incoming water line, so you can easily filter water for your whole house. A unique quarter-turn bypass cap allows you to switch between filtered and non-filtered water, which allows you to change s without having to turn off the water to the whole house. This bypass feature shortens the amount of time it takes to change filter cartridges, and reduces the mess that can come with typical changes. In addition, this system comes with the 25-micron OmniFilter TO8 taste & odor filter cartridge to handle water with sediment and taste. However, you can customize this system to your filtration needs by using any heavy duty whole house filter cartridge
